, and is used on the bikes listed in the compatibility list.  This CDI may fit other bikes not listed, depending on your rotor and stator combination.  Please check the part number on your OEM CDI to verify that it is a 23X module.  The CDI-23X measures 1.53" (l) x 1.15" (w) x 1.63" (d), and weighs only 3oz.
The wire colors and connections are the same as on the OEM module, so it's a direct plug-in replacement.

Company Background:
DynoTronix was established in 2016 by an engineer with more than 40 years experience in the electronics industry.  Our primary focus is to create new capacitive discharge ignition (CDI) modules to replace OEM units no longer available anywhere else.
The motivation for our objective started from a simple act of friendship.
As the saying goes, 'necessity is the mother of invention', and for the company owner, Bill, that necessity was helping his good friend, Mike, with a defective CDI module on a vintage Yamaha motorcycle.
In 2015, Mike was building a custom motorcycle for his son and needed a CDI module for a 1981 Yamaha IT250H engine.
However, the only available CDI units were used, and their functionality questionable at best.
That challenge motivated Bill to design and develop a new CDI module to replace the OEM version.
After nearly a year in development the new CDI design proved successful, and according to Mike and his son, performs better than the OEM unit.
So out of friendship, DynoTronix was founded.
Our continuing objective is to develop additional CDI modules to keep your vintage ride running.

Warranty:
It is very unlikely that your new CDI module will arrive defective.
We take great care and spend a lot of time assembling each CDI module to ensure it will provide you with years of service.
In addition, each CDI module is extensively tested, both before and after circuit encapsulation.
If you are not getting a spark after installing your new CDI module, it's more likely that there is another problem with your ignition system.
The problem could be in the stator coils, ignition coil, or system wiring.
Sometimes the cause is even a shorted kill switch.
In case you do have a problem with your new CDI, we offer a 120 day limited warranty.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the CDI module only, no cash refunds are offered.
DynoTronix, LLC will not cover any labor claims or return shipping charges under this warranty.
This warranty is null and void if the CDI unit shows any signs of abuse, tampering, dismantling, water damage, alterations, or Improper installation.
If the unit shows any signs of electrical damage caused by improper connection, the item will not be replaced under this warranty.
Determination of unit condition and/or cause of failure will be at the sole discretion of DynoTronix, LLC.
This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and any warranty claim must be accompanied with the original sales receipt, or other proof of purchase deemed acceptable by DynoTronix, LLC.
Please, do not return your unit without contacting us first.
Any warranty returns must be preauthorized and include a detailed description of your issue.
If you do return your CDI module under warranty, it will first be retested to determine its condition.
If no fault is found, the unit will be returned as it was received and all shipping charges shall be paid by the customer.  If the unit is found defective, however, it will either be repaired or replaced under the terms of this warranty.
DynoTronix, LLC reserves the right to alter the terms of this warranty at its discretion.
