16.5CM (6½") 2-WAY COAXIAL KIT
The woofers of the PC 165 FE kit, which are equipped with the Flax membrane, deliver a very dynamic, natural sound without discolouration. In addition, the built-in TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) surround stabilizes the surround for better control as well as even greater neutrality and linearity.
The coaxial tweeter with "M" profile in the center of the speaker driver offers better sound definition without directivity for an even more detailed listening experience.
With its engraved aluminum basket and careful finishing, the PC 165 FE combines style, discretion and modernity for a quality installation in your vehicle.

This flax cone has been manufactured exclusively in France by Focal since 2013. With its original design, it is 100% focused on acoustic performance. This sandwich cone consists of a flax fiber core sandwiched between two thin fiberglass layers. Flax is a fiber with the unique ability to reproduce a very natural sound without discoloration, with rich midrange reproduction and clear bass attacks. Their lightness ensures great dynamics, while their rigidity supports the bass and provides good damping to enable a listening experience that is faithful to the original. Flax fibers are twice as light as glass fibers because they are hollow. Their very low elasticity makes them ideal for increasing the flexural modulus of a sandwich structure.
